This post is to the recent passing of Hardy Walker a 81' Grissom Graduate and Alumnae of The University of Alabama and football player for them as well as His hometown school in Huntsville Alabama. Hardy is named the "Gentle Giant". It is said in the local newspaper this morning, His name reflected His character and He will be missed by family as well as His classmates. I remember many a friday night taking pictures of Him and His teamates playing football at our hometown stadium. I have pictures in my scrapbook of Him and His teamates to remind me of a kind individual that made a difference on and off the field. Today God is smiling as He recieved a beloved child of His to His eternal home on high. We to long for that great reunion with Him and others we have lost over the previous years, I to pray for such a time as that and some day soon we will all see Jesus! To those left here on earth, God's love and comfort is close. I know first hand with beloved family members and friends I have lost in the past. Let the Love of God comfort you and see you through whatever you may be enduring in your life at this time. God knows it all and how to heal our hearts in time.
May I leave you with these Qoutes:
Are you aware that the Father takes delight in you and that He thinks of you all the time?. - Jack Frost
How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! if i should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with Thee. Psalm 139: 17-18 KJV
We encounter God in the ordinariness of life, not in the search for spiritial highs and extraordinary, mystical experiences, but in our simple presence in life. - Brennan Manning
Only God gives true peace - a quiet gift He sets within us just when we think we've exhausted our search for it.
We think God's love rises and fall's with our performance. It doesn't...He loves you for whose you are: you are His child. - Max Lucado

Think about some of the good things in life,
like sunshine, holidays, feeling loved, special friendships,
and laughter. Think about the rainbows, butterflies, and beautiful
sunsets and feel loved, cared about, and accepted, remember that
in life, although there is some bad stuff, good things really do happen too.
And then Smile!
